We typically are able to offer fortnightly grounds and garden maintenance visits.

 

All our operatives are fully conversant with our operational procedures, though they may need to be briefed in your site specific Health & Safety requirements.

Although our site supervisor will work to a planned maintenance programme they will have the flexibility adapt to changes as they occur. All our maintenance team members have years of professional experience with the exception of the additional Summer staff who are horticultural students taken on work placement.

Maintenance visits are usually made every second week.

Typically the work will include;

• Collecting of litter

• Weed control on all hard areas including the car parks, footpaths and around buildings

• Algae / moss control on all hard areas

• Machine cut all grassed areas

• Trim edges of grassed areas

• Removal of weeds from all planted areas

• Prune bushes and shrubs

• Treatment of turf weeds on all grassed areas

• Over seeding of grassed areas

• Report any damage or potential problems to the responsible person

• Blow/sweep all external hard areas.

• Leaf clearing

 

Established shrubs are often maintained at less than 1 metre, though we can choose other suitable heights.

Trees to be crown lifted to 2 metres. This creates a definition between trees and shrubs.

We see our role is to maintain a pleasant and safe environment for the residents, employees and visitors.

​

A maintenance agreement would last for a period of 12 months and then becoming a rolling agreement (one months notice either way).

​

The annual charge will be broken into 12 equal instalments to be invoiced monthly, terms are 30 days.
